Creating Timer Actions
The timer action triggers Agent State, HTTP, Agent Notification, or Set Enterprise Data 
actions after a given amount of time has elapsed under certain circumstances. For 
instance, you can configure the Timer action to change an agent’s state to Ready if 
the agent’s state has been Work Ready state for 3 minutes. This action is available to 
agents using Agent Desktop at the Enhanced and Premium levels. 
To set up a timer action:
1. Set up a new action (see 
. The Select Action window appears.
2. Select the Timer Action tab, then click New. The Timer Action Setup window 
appears (
3. Complete the Timer Action Setup window as follows:
