Configuring the Network Adapters and Protocols
1.
Go to
Network Control Panel
.
2.
Select the
Adapters
tab. You should then see a list of
Network Adapters
(i.e., cards) currently configured (e.g., the first span is represented by
NMS
TXn000 LAN adapter <CP.1>
, the second span is represented by NMS
TXn000 LAN adapter <CP.2>
, etc.).
3.
Click on
Add
to add the new card you want to configure.
You will then see the Select Network Adapter screen.
4.
Click on
Have Disk
and type
c:\txnicdrv
.
5.
Make sure the
NMS TXn000 Communications Processor
is highlighted and
then click on
OK
.
The Select NMS Communications Processor dialog box opens. This dialog
box only shows the board address for the TX-2000 board previously installed.

Select the board to use and then click on

The Select NMS Products to Install/Configure dialog box opens.

TCP/IP Local Area Network Interface
and then click on
OK
.
The TXn000 [CP.n] NCPI LAN Driver Configuration dialog box opens. There
