Each shelf you want to add to a multishelf configuration must have network connectivity. For more

Complete the "DLP-G46 Log into CTC" task in the "

" document at the multishelf

DWDM node where you want to add a shelf.

To add a rack, in the multishelf view, right-click the gray area and choose Add Rack. If you do not need to add a rack,
continue with

Step 3, on page 14

To add a passive unit, in the multishelf view, right-click the gray space inside the rack and choose the passive unit from
the Add Shelf > PASSIVE CHASSIS options. The passive unit is added to the rack.
