8.4.2 Local Call Queue Example
The local call queues allow the administrator to add some of the directory numbers from the
Operator’s phone to a specific call queue so that they can monitor the e incoming calls to these
numbers and quickly answer these calls. The calls are listed in the order of arrival. There are
three different configurations for the local call queues:

The example configuration shown above shows an operator IP phone directory numbers and the
call queue configurations for a single operator position. One directory number is assigned as the
operator personal number. Three octal channel directory numbers with a total capacity of twenty
four calls are configured to receive the organization’s main number calls. These three directory
numbers are configured in the Main Number call queue. Button 6, 7 and 8 receive the customer
service calls. As octal-channel directory numbers, each of them can receive up to eight calls.
