If at first you do not find a combination of slot and lid aligned, then place the flat screwdriver on one 

slot of the nut and start tapping it with a hammer until you find the first slot and lid aligned. Once 

slot and lid are aligned proceed to bend the lid.

If eventually the alignment is not possible (this is very rare), two lids could be bent even though they 

are partially inside the nut slots. See picture below.

Lift up the PPS in loading position,

Remove the rubber cover drive roller encoder disc
