You cannot click Start, or press Ctrl + Break, Ctrl + Esc, or Ctrl + Alt + Delete 
when recording a macro. The Windows operating system disables macro recording 
when any of these are pressed.

The macro recorder does not record mouse movements.

The number of work flow groups allowed in Desktop Administrator is limited by the 
number of directories allowed by the operating system. Although it is possible to 
create a large number of work flow groups, the maximum recommended number of 
work flow groups is 10.

Desktop Administrator supports 256 data fields and 16 data layouts with 16 data 
fields per layout. An enterprise data field entry can be up to 255 characters long.

With some older sound cards, you will not be able to run other audio-capable 
applications such as Windows Media Player while running Supervisor Desktop. This 
is because the card and/or drivers do not support simultaneous use of it. Most new 
sound cards do not have this limitation.

Agent Desktop does not support deflected calls—calls that are forwarded 
automatically from one phone to another.

You may have 1 employee phone book. The number of global phone books is limited 
only by the PC’s memory.

The Recent Call List may contain a maximum of 100 entries. When the maximum is 
reached, the oldest entry is deleted. 

The Cisco Desktop Monitoring Console is a Java application that monitors the status 
of the CAD services and Directory Services. It must reside on the same computer as 
the Tomcat webserver; if the Tomcat webserver stops, so does the Monitoring 
Console.
