Ordering Goods and Services Based on a Quote
When you decide to order an item based on a quote, you can
retrieve the quote and change it to an order. This allows you to
send the order to the vendor. This will also update the Pending
Orders report.

1. In the Home window, choose Purchases, Orders, and
Quotes.
2. Select the vendor, and then in the Transaction field, select
Purchase Order.
3. In the Quote Number field, select the quote, and press the
Tab key.
4. If you want to print a copy of the purchase order, choose
Print from the File menu.
5. Click
Record.
Receiving Goods and Services

you must change the transaction to an invoice. When you
process the transaction, Simply Accounting adjusts your
accounts and inventory levels.
