Scheduling continuous and immediate meetings
Someone may want to schedule a continuous or an immediate meeting. This
section explains how to schedule each meeting type.

Scheduling and hosting lecture-style meetings
With the Question and Answer feature in MeetingPlace, you can set up
lecture-style meetings that have only one (or more) main speakers. All other
participants in the meeting have listen-only privileges and must request to
speak by pressing

Setting up a lecture-style meeting

Open the MeetingTime Register Book, and click the
Schedule
tab.

In the Schedule tab, fill in the details for your meeting.

Meeting Features
topic, select the
Meeting Type
parameter, and choose
Lecture
.

Reschedule a recurring
meeting

Users can reschedule a recurring meeting and apply the change to a single
meeting in the chain or to all future occurrences of the meeting. Because
port availability and meeting ID conflicts can prevent certain meetings in a
chain from being rescheduled, users can view any scheduling conflicts that
the scheduling request might cause. After viewing the results, users can
commit to the changes or cancel rescheduling.

In the Schedule tab, select the

option. Up to 1000 continuous
meetings may be scheduled per MeetingPlace system. They can only be
scheduled by a user with system manager access through MeetingTime.

After the last participant leaves a continuous meeting, the meeting data is

Users can schedule immediate meetings through the telephone interface,
