Monitoring Progress
To monitor progress after a system startup, watch the lights on the upper part
of the front panel (see Figure 6-6). The Alarm lights on the right indicate
minor, major, and critical alarms respectively. The System In Service light on
the far left comes on when the system is all the way up.
For a detailed explanation of each light, refer to Interpreting the Alarm
Lights on the Server
 in Chapter 7.

Maintaining the MeetingPlace M3 Server
The MeetingPlace M3 server requires little hardware maintenance. However,
due to general dust accumulation, the filter screens on each of the fans need
to be replaced once per year.
This type of maintenance is included in your Full Care Support package.
Please consult with your MeetingPlace support representative or the
MeetingServer Customer Engineer Guide for further instructions on general
hardware maintenance.
Maintaining the User Database
When users leave your organization, you should disable their access to
MeetingPlace by either deactivating them or removing them from your user
database.

When you deactivate users, you disable their access while maintaining
historical information about that user in the database.

When you remove users, you disable their access and remove their
profile records from the MeetingPlace database.
