arr — Aggregate Requested Cell 
Rate

The sum of the sustained rates of the existing 
connections.

aac — Actual Allocated Capacity

The amount of bandwidth that has been 
allocated to existing connections by the CAC.

max_cr — Maximum Usable Cell 
Rate

The maximum usable cell rate in the switch.

vf — Variance Factor

A relative measure of the cell rate margin 
normalized by the variance of the aggregate 
rate.

acr — Available Cell Rate

A measure of effective bandwidth available 
for a new connection.
